These are caregiver positions providing non-medical support at home. RNs are also welcome to apply for caregiver work. CNA certification is welcome but is not required if you are enrolled in or have completed a Nurse Aide course.
Caregiver qualifications
A foundation in care. A commitment to people.
Our minimum training requirement is current enrollment in or completion of a Nurse Aide course. Active CNAs, LPNs, and RNs are also welcome to apply for caregiver positions.
Enrollment qualifies you to apply. We review your training progress and demonstrated skills before matching you with an assignment. New graduates are welcome; prior paid caregiving experience is not required.

Caregiving at Kai

Our caregiver opportunities include hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility, along with companionship, meals, and household support. Responsibilities vary by client and are matched to your training and demonstrated abilities.

Arrive on time, keep your commitments, and communicate promptly when something changes.
Respect the person and their home.
Protect dignity and privacy. Learn each client’s routines, preferences, and pace.
Follow the plan and keep the team informed.
Follow the care plan, document visits accurately, and report changes or concerns promptly.
Know your skills and ask for support.
Work within your training and assigned responsibilities. Ask for guidance whenever you need it.
